Active antennas colored green indicates radio frequency television and FM radio signals are being transmitted from antennas at these locations. Inactive antennas are colored black.

Main Analog Antennas
All of the main analog antennas have been removed.

Auxiliary analog antennas
All of the the auxiliary analog antennas have been removed.

Old Interim digital antennas
The antennas located between levels 5 and 6 transmitted the new digital television signals up until October 12, 2009.  They have been removed.

Main digital antennas
The new main DTV antennas are installed on top of the tower in place of the old analog Main antennas.  They transmit the new digital television signal which can be received only by newer television sets equipped with digital tuners or older analog television sets through a digital converter box.  They are active most of the time except during maintenance activities in this area of the tower. 

Auxiliary digital antennas
The new auxiliary DTV antennas are installed between levels 3 and 4 except the KGO Channel 7 auxiliary antennas which will remain at level 2.  They will transmit the new digital television signals only during maintenance activities on the main digital antennas.
