Agreement Between Sutro Tower, Inc. and Neighborhood Groups
During the process of obtaining permits for the DTV Conversion Project three neighborhood associations surrounding Sutro Tower indicated their concern that information about the operation of the tower is not easily available to residents. They also identified some improvements to the neighborhood were not being addressed due to lack of funds. These groups and Sutro Tower, Inc. agreed to address these concerns and the resulting document was prepared and presented to the San Francisco Planning Commission at the project approval hearing and incorporated in the Commission’s action to approve the project.

The California Environmental Quality Act requires a study of the potential environmental impact of any major construction project and publication of the findings.
