Unscheduled Event Inspections

As required by a licensed engineer, Sutro Tower shall have an independent laboratory conduct an Event Inspection as soon as practical after the occurrence of a severe storm, earthquake, mudslide, or other triggering environmental event that exceeds the design load of the Tower (winds in excess of 70 miles per hour at 10 meters in elevation, or a 1000-year seismic event as defined in the dynamic analysis report of June 1999).
